Description We are in the search for a skilled Senior SQL Server Developer to join our team in the printing and publishing industry. Based in Secaucus, New Jersey, this role involves developing product-based solutions to optimize client data and file submissions, thereby enhancing print production and access to our top-notch print and cross-media platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Create data-centric Windows-based and web solutions, as well as solutions that integrate with other systems and devices.
• Develop integrations using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Write, modify, and maintain source code for various internal and project-specific applications.
• Work collaboratively with Solution Architects and Technical Account Managers to design suitable software deliverables.
• Participate in system and integration testing, and configure and deploy software applications and systems.
• Develop solutions that fully utilize Microsoft SQL Server for data storage.
• Configure interfaces with third-party software tools and utilities.
• Assist in the documentation of work and maintenance of time sheets.
• Train end users on job-specific usage of deployed software solutions and train system owners on proper maintenance and support of software solutions.
• Support, maintain, and enhance deployed software solutions.
• Mentor staff-level engineers in areas of expertise. Requirements • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL Server
• Proficiency in Microsoft SSRS for reporting services
• Advanced skills in C Sharp Programming (C#)
• Must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing SQL Server databases
• Demonstrable experience in database architecture and data modeling
• Strong understanding of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex SQL Server related issues
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
