• Cost Analyst – Long Beach, CA | Hybrid | Manufacturing | High-Growth Opportunity

We’re seeking a Cost Analyst to join our manufacturing team in Long Beach. If you're detail-oriented, love digging into inventory and costing, and have a passion for improving processes, this is your opportunity to grow with a fast-moving company.

What You’ll Do:

+ Analyze inventory and product costing data to support month-end close

+ Prepare journal entries, reconcile GL accounts, and ensure financial accuracy

+ Validate inventory reports and stock valuations

+ Work cross-functionally to streamline cost and inventory processes

+ Identify variances, investigate root causes, and recommend improvements

+ Use ERP systems to manage cost and inventory data

+ Support audits and provide documentation as needed

What You Bring:

+ Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory processes

+ Experience in manufacturing environments preferred

+ Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel

+ A mindset for continuous improvement and process optimization

Requirements • Proven experience in cost accounting, with a strong understanding of inventory and product costing.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ERP platforms such as Epicor.

• Familiarity with reporting tools like Crystal Reports for financial analysis.

• Knowledge of general accounting functions, including accounts payable and month-end procedures.

• Experience with budgeting and variance analysis processes.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet tight deadlines.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
