    The Medical Office Receptionist will provide front office support in a physician office setting.

     

    * Answers telephone promptly and courteously, takes accurate and complete messages, forwards, or answers inquiries as appropriate. Schedules all patients according to policy and procedures.

    * Collects, verifies and performs insurance eligibility into the practice management system.

    * Collects co-payments or old balances and provides written receipts for all payment transactions.

    * Provides coverage at various clinic locations as needed.
