Water/Wastewater Engineer

We are looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team serving our southeast water/wastewater clients. This position will require working independently and as part of larger multi-disciplinary teams to develop engineering evaluations, design concepts, prepare preliminary and detailed designs, and support field engineering activities. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on a wide variety of tasks and with peers in the Orlando, FL office and throughout the company. This position offers a self-motivated professional an opportunity to grow personally as well as professionally within our diverse and fast-paced office.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Work on multi-disciplinary teams to deliver world-class projects.
* Effectively work with project teams with diverse technical skill sets and geographic locations.
* Observe and document field and construction activities primarily related to water, wastewater, and facility infrastructure.
* Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and work in a fast-paced consulting environment.
* Work to build a cooperative partnership between the client and all stakeholders to ensure the overall success of the projects.
* Collaborate on and contribute to maintaining and building strong client relationships.
* Ability to participate in and lead tasks.
* Drive health and safety in all aspects of project execution, including field, office, and personal environments.
* B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering discipline.
* 3+ years of experience.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have
* Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred in Florida.
* Experience working in a multi-disciplinary project team.
