    As aLine Cookat Villa Restaurant Group, you will play a critical role in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and ready for service. Your attention to detail and dedication to food quality will contribute to the success of our culinary team.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Ingredient Preparation:Prepare and portion ingredients, such as vegetables, proteins, and other items, following standardized recipes and portion sizes.

    + Quality Control:Maintain strict quality control to ensure that all ingredients meet the highest standards of taste, texture, and appearance.

    + Station Setup:Set up and organize the prep station with all necessary ingredients, utensils, and equipment for efficient cooking.

    + Food Safety:Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food storage, handling, and temperature monitoring.

    + Timing:Work efficiently to ensure that all prepped ingredients are readily available for use during service hours.

    + Cleaning and Maintenance:Keep the prep area and equipment clean, sanitized, and well-maintained.

    + Inventory Management:Assist in monitoring ingredient inventory levels and notifying the kitchen manager of any shortages or replenishment needs.

    + Menu Knowledge:Familiarize yourself with menu items, variations, and any allergen information to assist kitchen staff and servers.

    + Teamwork:Collaborate effectively with kitchen Team Members, including chefs, cooks, and servers, to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

    What You’ll Need:

    + Previous experience as a prep cook or kitchen assistant is preferred but not required.

    + Ability to work 4pm - Midnight shift

    + Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and knife skills.

    + Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices.

    + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
