POSITION
In this role, the administrator will passionately lead and grow the firm-wide safety program. This role is crucial for maintaining our exceptional safety culture and ensuring compliance with safety standards and government regulations. The ideal candidate will have a self-driven mindset and a strong background in safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coach and influence others. These responsibilities include:
+ Partner with employees and management to continually further the company’s safety mindset
+ Manages the company's safety initiatives and regulatory compliance programs
+ Responsible for ensuring that safety policies are up-to-date and compliant
+ Ensures company practices conform to applicable company policies and government regulations
+ Prepares and submits OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 reporting
+ Tracks and monitors safety-related incidents and near miss reports [LE1]
+ Develop and provide ongoing safety training
+ Conducts workplace safety evaluations
+ Partners with Human Resources to manage workers' compensation claims
+ Conduct job site analysis and seek areas for improvement
+ Performs internal auditing of the safety program
+ Maintain the Emergency Response Plan and ensure compliance with necessary drills and exercises
+ Promotes safety through mentoring and education
+ Expands, develops, and implements safety programs to promote a safe work environment

YOUR STRENGTHS [LE2]
+ 5+ years of experience designing and implementing company-wide safety programs
+ Bachelor's degree in safety
+ Safety experience in construction or heavy civil
+ OSHA 30 certified preferred
+ Certified Safety Professional or similar certifications preferred
+ Periodic travel to company office locations, project job sites, and other company functions.
+ Must have a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record.
