Market Treasury/Money Markets & Funding - Director
Key Responsibilities
• Managing the bank’s funding through UST and MBS Agency trades repo activity as well as issuing CD/CP.
• Managing liquidity cash or collateral through money transactions, FX swaps, interoffice deals, etc.
• Managing intercompany funding transactions.
• Generating trade ideas within bank treasury, bills, asset swaps, FX swaps, and rates markets.
• Pursuing new collateral initiatives, involving outreach to various stakeholders across the Firm.
• Liaising with prime brokers and counterparties to ensure timely domestic and international settlements of treasury trades.
• Acting as a business analyst with business users including treasury back office, Risk, and Audit.
• Servicing business user inquiries and performing ongoing application maintenance activities.
• Supporting the team in any regulatory exams and addressing internal findings issued by the second or third line of defense.
• Continuously improving methods and processes to enhance profitability and/or mitigate trading risks.
Required Qualifications
• Experience and technical knowledge in fixed income repo, as well as money markets.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
• Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities, meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with extensive experience in Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of VBA, Python, and SQL preferred.
• Precision and accuracy in the production of reports circulated to the Bank’s senior management or regulators.
The expected base salary ranges from $180,000 - $225,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
