Job Summary:

This role involves close collaboration with both the Head of Strategy and the Chief Medical Officer. The Manager of Strategy will play a central role in formulating and executing strategic initiatives across the healthcare provider business unit. This position demands strategic foresight, rigorous analytical skills, and collaborative leadership to support high-impact initiatives that advance the business unit’s overall strategic direction.

Role and Responsibilities:

+ Develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the healthcare business unit's overall objectives, market dynamics, and growth targets.

+ Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Service Lines, Product, Marketing, Operations, Delivery, Finance, analysts and advisors to implement and monitor key strategic projects.

+ Engage with strategic partners externally to identify and conceptualize innovative solutions, ensuring these are effectively integrated into the healthcare business unit’s overall strategy.

+ Set a clear thought leadership agenda, executing on that agenda to strengthen the business unit’s market position and internal alignment.

+ Maintain deep awareness of healthcare industry trends, competitor positioning, and regulatory shifts to proactively shape and refine strategic initiatives.

+ Lead rigorous analysis of strategic opportunities, performance metrics, and market conditions to identify areas for strategic improvements.

+ Present strategic insights and actionable recommendations clearly and compellingly to senior leadership, ensuring alignment and effective decision-making.

**Required Experience** :

+ **MBA is required, with at least 3 years of post-MBA experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or related strategic roles.**

+ Proven experience within the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of market dynamics, healthcare operations, and strategic planning.

+ Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and strategic project management capabilities.

+ Proven ability to succeed in a dynamic, cross-functional, and matrixed environment.

+ Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels.

Behavioral Skills:

+ Proactive self-starter capable of quickly adapting to shifting strategic priorities.

+ Strong strategic mindset complemented by a commitment to execution and measurable results.

+ Highly collaborative individual skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships across diverse teams and functions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applicants will be accepted till 6/14/2025

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $120K-$162K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
