    Lead Software Engineer (GCP/Angular)

    **Location:** Dearborn, MI (Onsite)

    Job Summary

    Cognizant Digital Engineering is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with experience in GCP, Spring Boot, and Angular. We’re looking for a collaborative team member who values continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and delivering high-quality enterprise solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using GCP, SQL, Spring Boot, AngularJS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.

    • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

    • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.

    • Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and automation.

    • Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback.

    • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.

    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

    • Translate product requirements into technical specifications in partnership with product managers.

    • Implement robust security and data protection measures.

    • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and maintainability.

    • Ensure all development aligns with established standards and best practices.

    Qualifications

    + Proven experience in software engineering, ideally with a strong background in **GCP, SQL, Spring Boot, AngularJS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL** .

    + Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and contribute to innovative, mission-driven projects.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning.

    + Experience mentoring or supporting peers in a collaborative team setting is a plus.

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
