Sr. DotNet Developer (Onsite)

We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Developer. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in ASP.Net, .Net Core, and Azure. This role encompasses leadership responsibilities, including different planning strategies. By ensuring robust and efficient system operations, the candidate will play a key role in advancing our company’s mission.

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

Responsibilities

+ Participate in business requirements and functional requirements gathering, which involves a review of existing systems configurations and operating methods as well as understanding evolving business needs.

+ Involve in Backlog refinement meetings to refine feature backlog items and update the acceptance criteria for each PBIs.

+ Analyze the existing system for design changes and impact evaluation and provide working solution for the same.

+ Participate in COLO meetings to give suggestions on any code huddles or requirement clarifications for the team.

+ Create User control and customize the third-party user controls for development. Write automated unit tests for the new functionality.

+ Use mock objects to stand in for dependencies.

+ Refactor the code or add additional use cases to test.

+ Coordinate and share knowledge with the testing team to complete the testing for the PBIs.

+ Creates build definitions definition using Visual Studio.

+ Create deployment packages using Microsoft Release Manager and GIT.

+ Works with Business and SMEs for high level business requirements, prepares Release Plan and cuts over activity based on business requirements.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and 5+ years of demonstrated experience.

+ Hands on experience with Asp.Net MVS, .Net Core, Web Development, JQuery, SASS, and Web Accessibility.

+ Javascript Library framework, VueJS/React, Sitecore 10.x Web development.

+ Experience with Azure – Web application technologies, Web API (REST), SQL and Entity Framework.

Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $64,025k – $94,500K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
