    Job Summary

    + Compensation range of $105-120k annually, plus discretionary annual bonus

    Main Responsibilities

    + Track & analyze cash position, assist in cash forecasting and reporting of net financial position Prepare, review and analyze financial information to ensure integrity is maintained

    + Lead monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Responsible for preparations of journal entries, reconciliations and consolidated IFRS & GAAP financial reporting package to parent company

    + Supervise and mentor accounting staff

    + Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting Prepare tax worksheets and support schedules

    + Participate in external and internal audits as required

    + Maintain and develop internal control procedures Uphold Colas ethics and business principles

    + Ad hoc projects and reporting as needed

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Education

    A bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in accounting, finance or other applicable degree.

     

    Skills

     

    + At least 7 years of accounting work experience is acceptable for this position

    + Construction industry accounting experience including WIP reporting

    + Strong knowledge of both GAAP and IFRS including revenue recognition and lease accounting standards Previous experience managing a small team

    + Ideal candidate will have CPA and/or CMA certification

    + Excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize and follow-up on multiple concurrent tasks

    + Must possess excellent skills with Microsoft Windows and MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel (intermediate level)

    + Experience with JDE, Sage, Timberline, or other enterprise construction industry software a plus

    + Highly motivated, positive, professional, organized, detail oriented, and an effective communicator
