    Summary of Role:

    Technology Computer Aided Design tools are critical to accelerate the technology development and deployment in our Fabs. As part of a Global R&D Team, we are seeking to strengthen our US TCAD team with highly motivated Individuals who are at the early phase of their career. The candidate brings passion for semiconductor technologies and devices, strives for high-quality work, cares about details, and is willing to learn and cooperate in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    + Provide TCAD Support to the Product Lines, in particular to the GaN business line. Apply commercial simulation software to mimic semiconductor process flows and device performance and highlight the opportunities for device optimization.

    + Timely communication and delivery of appropriate understanding of the link between Process Flow and Device performance in terms of IV, CV, BV, SelfHeating, ESD, RF, LargeSignal, etc. Perform model calibration work when necessary, based on measurements.

    + Deep interaction with integration, device, and design engineers to assure development of a working technology. Anticipate integration/process issues, based on inputs from integration, process or design enablement teams.

    + Work autonomously to drive optimal technology decisions by evaluating multiple optimization paths.

    Other Responsibilities:

    + Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Very good knowledge of VLSI Fabrication processes.

    + Very good knowledge of Semiconductor Device Physics.

    + Very good knowledge of GaN TCAD Modeling with hands-on experience.

    + Good experience and personal affinity to modeling in general and TCAD in particular.

    + Expertise in at least one domain related to CMOS fabrication or modeling.

    + Ability to work in a team to solve complex problems.

    + Ability to understand the time-value of the work and meet timelines.

    + Minimum Experience: PhD + 0-1 year, BS + 2-4 years, or MS + 1-3 years of experience

     

    Expected Salary Range

     

    $65,400.00 - $145,800.00

     

    The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
