Our Team
Our Media Finance team is trusted with the Global Media Revenue financial operations. We do it all, everything from monthly ad revenue and accounting close to coordination, analysis and reporting on performance to Sales Management across all our commercial teams. We work closely with the Media Sales and financial team to provide accurate and efficient financial support for our global stakeholders across the sales and operations teams.
We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer & Analytics Specialist with at least 2-4 years of experience with a passion for data engineering and an ability to support business decision-making through data insights. With a strong focus on data pipeline development and integration, this position will also involve uncovering insights and creating visualizations to help drive our sales strategy.
We’ll trust you to:
Data Integration & Management
• Build and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various internal and external sources.
• Develop scripts and workflows using tools such as Python, SQL, or other programming languages.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and processes.
• Document and maintain processes, data dictionaries and tools.
Strategic Analyst
• Analyze and clean large datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Assist in creating dashboards, reports, and visualization using tools like BIRST, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Help uncover trends, insights, and opportunities to support the sales and sales enablement teams.
• Partner with Sales and Sales Enablement teams to collect requirements and create compelling dashboards and reports to visualize key performance metrics.
• Support the Senior data and analytics team in storytelling and presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Skill Needed:
• Proficiency in ETL processes using tools such as SQL, Python, R , or similar languages.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Birst, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Basic understanding of data analysis, statistics, and reporting.
• Ability to translate raw data into actionable insights.
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You need to have:
• 2-4 years of experience
• Degree in Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field is preferred
• Familiarity with advertising or media ad sales data
• Experience working with sales data and CRM systems, i.e. Salesforce
