    Junior Strategy Analyst – DAC

    Job Description Summary:

    The Junior Strategy Analyst – DAC will be part of a dynamic team supporting the Air National Guard strategic planning processes enable a Guard force that is capable and sustainable as a cost-effective element of national security.  Povides a broad range of technical support in all aspects of the Plans, Programs & Requirements Directorate (NGB A5/8) mission. Supports day-to-day operations for the Strategic Planning System (SPS) as well as any executive administrative needs for A8X and A8B. Manages all daily functions across the contract, such as meeting logistics support, drafting agendas and AARs, general editing and document enhancements, and archival support.

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    + Plan, schedule, attend, assist, facilitate and document all Strategic Planning System (SPS) meetings.

    + Recommend edits of documentation, including briefings, notes and minutes and all Steering Committee (SC) directives.

    + Provide recommended topics, content and supporting background material to the SC to ensure that meetings effectively address issues and provide expertise that advance the SPS’ chartered objectives.

    + Provide Division or Branch Chiefs reports on all SPS related action items generated during meetings, to include minutes, and after-action reports at each function.

    + Ensure all documents are reviewed and align with regulations, senior leader published guidance and properly convey to senior leadership intent for all matters related to regional and national meetings.

    + Archive all documents to ensure that they are accessible to the Air National Guard (ANG) strategic planning community within the common NGB A5/8 Share Drive system.

    + Provide historical data to the Strategic Planning System Liaison Officer (SPS-LNO) and the NGB A5/8 Resource Advisor in their development and management of the annual Strategic Planning System Steering Committee (SPS SC) activities budget on computing and controlling scheduled conference/working group costs and funding requirements.

    + Research best value estimates for SPS-SC operating supplies, software upgrades, printing activities and production costs prior to the execution of SPS-SC conferences/working groups and annual regional meetings.

    + Provide a broad range of technical support in all aspects of the NGB A5/8 mission.

    Requirements:

    + BA/BS

    + 3-5+ years of relevant experience

    + Secret clearance

    Location:

    his position is on-site located primarily at Joint Base Andrews, with occasional meetings at the Pentagon and the Herbert R. Temple Jr. Army National Guard Readiness Center (TARC). The government may permit telework.
