    Duration: Direct hire

     

    Pay Rate: $90-130k/yr

     

    System One is currently seeking a Civil Engineer (PE) on a direct hire position located in Amarillo, TX.

    Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for the design, analysis, and execution of civil engineering aspects of large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects, including power generation facilities, renewable energy installations, and utility infrastructure.

    + Lead and perform civil engineering design for site development, grading, drainage, foundations, roads, and utilities in compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, ACI, ASTM).

    + Develop and review engineering deliverables including calculations, construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.

    + Coordinate with structural, electrical, mechanical, and environmental engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.

    + Ensure all civil engineering work adheres to safety and quality standards.

    + Prepare and present technical reports and participate in client meetings as needed.

    Civil Engineer Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).

    + Active PE license in Texas or ability to obtain one within 6 months.

    + 3+ years of relevant civil engineering experience, preferably in an EPC or heavy industrial setting.

    + Experience with large-scale industrial, power generation, or energy projects is a plus.

    + Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
