    We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our engineering consulting firm located in the Twin Cities. Our firm specializes in land development and residential site development, offering an opportunity to work with a team of engineers, project managers, and designers to create site development plans for residential projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with a team to design site development plans for residential developments.

    + Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil design projects.

    + Interpret data and information from field crews to design construction documents and plans.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

    + 1+ years of experience as a Civil Engineer or relevant internship experience.

    + 6+ months experience in land development.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

    + EIT Certification.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in site development and land development projects.

    + Ability to work with field data and create accurate construction plans.

    + Capability to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.

    Work Environment

    The role is primarily office-based, with responsibilities including drafting and creating survey certificates. Work hours are Monday through Friday with some flexibility. You will be part of a collaborative team comprised of 4 Professional Engineers (PEs), 3 registered land surveyors, EITs, LSITs, and 5-6 field crews during the summer months. Our firm is known for treating employees well and offers the chance to work on both large-scale and custom smaller projects.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $37.00/hr.
