• Environmental Test Technician

    Actalent (Denver, CO)


    Entry-level Environmental Test Technician opening with an environmental consulting firm in Denver, CO. Field-based, hands-on environmental testing position with opportunity for advancement to Test Engineer I role within 6-12 months.

     

    Candidates must be open to regional, overnight travel (2-to-5 day projects during standard work week) when required. Company vehicle provided for travel; all travel time, expenses, and lodging are paid for by company + $72 Per Diem.

     

    Employees typically earn between $50,000-$60,000 with overtime their first year.

    Responsibilities:

    + Use testing instruments to perform air emissions testing and monitoring based on EPA permit requirements for large industrial clients.

    + Transport equipment to site using company vehicle, set up and break down of testing equipment.

    + Record data, collect samples.

    + Equipment calibrations.

    + Assist engineers in air quality testing procedures.

    + Environmental, health and safety protocols.

    + Organize and load testing equipment into vehicles for upcoming jobs.

    + Maintenance and cleaning of testing equipment.

    Qualifications:

    + B.S. in Environmental Science or related field of study preferred.

    + Previous experience working in a field-based capacity.

    + Able to travel as required during the standard work week.

    + Candidates must be comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 75 lbs. to set up testing equipment.

    Additional Information & Compensation:

    + 1.5x Overtime. $72 Per Diem.

    + All travel expenses covered by company. Company vehicle provided.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
