• Contract Manufacturing Engineer

    Actalent (Rockford, IL)

    (Contract will be for at least a year with the possibility to be extended or go permanent)

     

    4+ years of experience - more the better

    CNC or PLC programming a plus

    Highly prefer a degreed engineer. would need to walk on

     

    water if they don't have a BS in Engineering

     

    Panel interview – w/ 3 engineering managers

     

    Capital purchasing of equipment a plus

     

    Working with equipment suppliers

     

    Capx project mgt above half a million dollars would be huge

     

    + Manufacturing Engineering - Solid understanding of applicable manufacturing processes including Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) programming; Ability to apply advanced knowledge of capabilities studies, Gage R&R, and machine capability; Solid understanding of machinery related to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc. to specify equipment and procure capital; Solid understanding of product drawings, including GD&T and specification flow down

    + Controls Engineering - Solid knowledge on database management software skills; Solid programming knowledge of applicable software (i.e. G Code, CNC, PLC, etc.)

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
