    Job Title: Mechanical Training Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Training Manager to assist with the development and delivery of structured apprenticeship training programs aligned with industry standards and company policies. This role involves evaluating instructors, creating training schedules, and providing hands-on instruction to apprentices, ensuring they gain both theoretical and practical knowledge. The position requires maintaining accurate training records and collaborating with senior field leaders to ensure training aligns with job site requirements and company objectives.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the development and delivery of apprenticeship training programs aligned with NCCER curriculum and company standards.

    + Evaluate instructors on an ongoing basis and provide constructive feedback.

    + Create and maintain comprehensive training schedules.

    + Provide hands-on instruction in accordance with industry best practices, OSHA safety regulations, and company policies.

    + Conduct classroom and lab training sessions for apprentices to gain theoretical and practical knowledge.

    + Provide coaching and mentorship to apprentices, instructors, and field leaders for career development.

    + Assess apprentice progress through testing, skill demonstrations, and performance evaluations.

    + Maintain accurate training records, including NCCER certifications and apprenticeship progress reports.

    + Collaborate with senior field leaders to align training with job site requirements and company objectives.

    + Arrange and provide continuing education for team members and field leadership.

    + Collaborate with Central Operations to develop standard practices for company fabrication facilities.

    + Observe and provide feedback to Central Operations on fabrication procedures and production.

    + Suggest improvements in fabrication safety, production, and innovation.

    + Stay current with industry trends, tools, technologies, and safety regulations.

    + Participate in company meetings, safety briefings, and workforce development initiatives.

    Essential Skills

    + NCCER Certification as an Instructor or ability to obtain

    + Applicable OSHA or other widely recognized safety professional credential(s)

    + Ability to manage multiple apprentices with varying levels of experience

    + Proficiency in industry-related software, tools, and equipment

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in an instructional, training, or mentorship role preferred

    + Trade certification or relevant industry experience required

    Work Environment

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $48.07/hr.
