Job Title: Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to plan, organize, and conduct audits, surveys, and inspections, while monitoring and reporting on supplier quality-related activities. This role requires the preparation, maintenance, and review of procurement quality procedures to ensure compliance with customer and government requirements. You will represent the company with suppliers and conduct training programs to develop and improve supplier performance and productivity. The position demands providing technical expertise to employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies, ensuring that suppliers' manufacturing and Quality Systems meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct audits, surveys, and inspections to verify Quality System compliance.

+ Monitor and report on supplier quality-related activities.

+ Prepare, maintain, and review procurement quality procedures.

+ Represent the company with suppliers and conduct training programs.

+ Ensure suppliers document and maintain an approved Quality System.

+ Develop solutions for supplier quality issues and implement corrective actions.

+ Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive effective control of quality problems.

+ Provide technical expertise in quality assurance and root cause analysis processes.

Essential Skills

+ Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).

+ Experience dealing directly with suppliers on quality approvals and resolving quality issues.

+ Skilled in root cause analysis and corrective action plans.

+ At least 5 years in Supplier Quality Assurance or Supply Chain Management.

+ Understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.

+ Proficient in GD&T.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in aerospace, automotive, or pharmaceutical industries preferred.

+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

+ Ability to work with international teams from Germany, France, England, and Asia.

+ Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ Need for an active US passport and willingness to travel (25% travel).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
