Job Title: Continuous Improvement SpecialistJob Description
We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist who will focus on process optimization, leveraging methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. This role involves analyzing current workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing improvement strategies. You will collect and interpret data to measure process performance and identify areas for improvement, while collaborating with various departments to implement these improvements. Additionally, you will lead and manage continuous improvement projects from inception to execution, establish 5S programs, conduct root cause analysis, and drive cost reduction initiatives.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze current workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement improvement strategies.
+ Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
+ Collect and interpret data to measure process performance and identify areas for improvement.
+ Collaborate closely with production, quality, and supply chain departments to implement process improvements.
+ Lead and manage continuous improvement projects from inception to execution.
+ Establish 5S programs and operator training to educate employees on best practices.
+ Investigate issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
+ Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure continuous enhancement of processes.
+ Identify opportunities for automation and digital solutions to improve process efficiency.
+ Develop and execute strategies for cost reduction, improving resource utilization, and lowering operational costs.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ years of experience as a Continuous Improvement Engineer.
+ Experience with operations to enable cost savings and product quality improvement.
+ Proven experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma.
+ Excellent project management abilities with a track record of successfully leading improvement initiatives.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in industrial engineering and manufacturing processes.
+ Familiarity with tooling and process improvement techniques.
+ Ability to conduct time studies and data collection for identifying areas of improvement.
Work Environment
This role involves a very hands-on approach within an extremely clean manufacturing environment. You will spend approximately 70% of your time on the floor collecting data and 30% at your desk doing analysis. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $46.00/hr.
