    Job Title: Senior Program Manager

    Job Description

    As a Program Manager, you will be the principal point of contact for key military and commercial customers, showcasing your technical program leadership within the Rugged Embedded Computing industry. You will manage multi-million dollar budgets, lead action-oriented teams, and oversee the execution of integrated systems development programs in the Defense and Aerospace embedded environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Familiarize with the architecture and implementation of complex VME board product and integrated systems for Defense and Aerospace.

    + Manage hardware development processes, integration, and test requirements to support complex systems integration activities.

    + Own the schedule and cost management of programs, establishing baselines for planned cost, design configuration, and schedule.

    + Establish and track metrics to monitor performance and progress.

    + Lead multi-disciplinary teams within a matrixed organization.

    + Act as a central authority in the company's relationships with internal and external customers.

    + Establish program status reporting to anticipate and address problem areas proactively.

    + Develop contingency plans for potential risk areas and report potential problems to upper management.

    + Maintain pertinent written records documenting all agreements and commitments related to the project.

    + Actively pursue new business and coordinate proposal responses for both formal RFPs and informal inquiries.

    + Work with Engineering and support organizations to analyze proposals regarding cost, risk, and quality.

    + Lead source selections and negotiation teams, and monitor subcontract costs, schedules, and technical performance.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred.

    + Minimum of 10 years of related experience.

    + Extensive experience in strategic planning, competitive assessments, and bidding/acquisition of multi-million dollar contracts.

    + Experience working with Defense and Aerospace customer community.

    + Management leadership of annual multi-million dollar budget.

    + Strong interpersonal skills for team building and customer relationships.

    + Technical and program leadership experience in the Single Board Computer industry and integrated systems development.

    + Proficiency in customer communications, negotiations, and proposal management.

    + Ability to contribute to strategic planning, plan execution, and technology roadmap updates.

    + Ability to keep team members focused on schedule milestones and objectives.

    + Motivation skills to develop cost-effective, customer-oriented solutions.

    + Independence in making administrative and operational decisions.

    + Must be a US citizen able to obtain and maintain DOD Security clearance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + PMP or MBA is desirable.

    Work Environment

    The role requires effective communication with the floor and customers to ensure on-time delivery. You will work closely with a team of Project Managers, engineers, and customers, contributing to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $72.11 - $91.35/hr.
