A Brief Overview

The Analyst gathers and analyzes business data, as well as analyzes, conceptualizes and defines problems, providing results and suitable recommendations. Performs financial analysis for all the Auto Business Center products, including conventional automobile, leasing and marine loans.

What you’ll do

•· Computes the monthly premium payment to automobile dealers for conventional and/or leasing products within the first 10 days of the month. Authorize its payment. Evaluate exceptions as needed. Keep the "Charge Back" program in doing so.

•· Monitors that the dealer incentive amount recorded in , the Bank's subsidiary for consumer loans, is exact according to each loan own terms. Generates transactions to modify them if needed to ensure the correctness of the impact to the General Ledger accounts.

•· Keeps exact record in the Premium Manager application of the amount of the incentive to be paid.

•· Develops and updates the MIS Auto Business Repository, selecting the proper reports to include, in the best suitable format, and the best presentation for the Management to easily identify and find the necessary analysis or information.

•· In charge of the custody of the unused checks and the corresponding safekeeping. Produces dealer incentive checks when necessary.

•· Coordinates the updated in APPRO System of the automobile conventional and/or leasing loans buy rates plans for all dealers.

•· Keeps always updated on market strategies and interest rate programs issued by Auto Business Center for every dealer or commercial relation.

•· Performs timely and accurately various periodic financial reports such as Financial and Production Report, Weekly Production Dashboard, among others, as well as participate in the annual Budget process.

•· Designs and performs any other analysis requested by Management, as needed.

•· Determines the most appropriate analytical technique to explicitly generate the required information.

•· Other tasks and special projects as needed. For example, participates on UIT, UAT for some applications developed for or used by our Department.

•· Develops and runs special projects requested by management.

•· Ensures successful implementation of new strategies.

•· Analysts in the Department are the back up each one to the others, in case of any leave license.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a major in Finance or Accounting or in Information Technology is required to perform this job. The incumbent must have at least three years of experience gathering business data and performing financial analysis within the auto finance or banking industry, preferred. Reporting experience using Excel, Access, OnBase and/or Crystal Reports. A minimum of two years of experience managing statistical programs and demonstrating advanced use of database programs is required.
