    Description

    A licensed civil engineering, land surveying, design, and land use planning firm is seeking a Land Surveyor. The role involves designing grading and elevation plans for medium-sized subdivisions or commercial buildings. The firm currently has about 11 employees and aims to double its size within the next few years.

     

    In this role, you will work directly with two licensed land surveyors, gaining both field and office surveying experience necessary to test for and obtain your own professional surveyor license. You will use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design exterior path-of-travel, frontage improvements, grading and drainage plans, pavement repair assessment plans, record drawings, site improvement plans, utility plans, topographic surveys, residential and commercial land development plans, tentative maps, and more. You will also be responsible for creating and storing drawings electronically.

    Job Requirements:

    3+ years survey experience in field

     

    1+ year in field operating survey instruments

     

    1+ year AutoCAD drafting

     

    1+ year Civil 3D drafting

     

    Process Survey Data

     

    CAD Certificate desired, but not required

     

    California Driver’s License

    Experience Level

    Intermediate Level

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
