    Job Title: Engineering InternJob Description

     

    This internship role involves supporting both the assembly line and the machining/finishing line. The intern will be responsible for data collection using software and networks, retrieving data from testing equipment, and generating data files. Additionally, the position includes investigating warranty-related issues and programming in LabVIEW, SQL, and writing micros.

    Responsibilities

    + Support the assembly line and machining/finishing line.

    Essential Skills

    + Currently studying Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with LabVIEW or data acquisition tools is a plus.

    + Assembly line experience is a plus.

    + Exposure to electrical, controls, or instrumentation is beneficial.

    Work Environment

    The role is primarily based on the manufacturing floor, which is a very clean machining and assembly environment equipped with state-of-the-art precision tools. This position is an excellent opportunity for students, particularly rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors, looking to gain practical experience through an internship. The experience gained could potentially lead to long-term employment opportunities after completion of schooling.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
