Forklift Mechanic
Job Description
This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals experienced in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining lift trucks and forklifts. You will start by working in the shop, paired with a senior partner, before transitioning to road assignments in Silver Spring, Annapolis, Waldorf, and Southern Maryland. Your main duties will include performing maintenance, diagnosing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining a variety of equipment including forklifts, pallet trucks, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain lift trucks and forklifts.
+ Perform maintenance on lifts for clients.
+ Diagnose, repair, inspect, and maintain equipment including forklifts, pallet trucks, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
+ Transport forklifts back to the shop if problems are too complex to be resolved on-site.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of mechanic experience, particularly as a forklift mechanic.
+ Experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
+ Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
+ Experience working with hand and pneumatic tools.
+ Clean driving record.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
