Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Specialist

Job Description

The Shipping/Receiving Specialist is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing spare parts and freight. This role requires expertise in inventory management, shipping processes, and data entry, ensuring efficient coordination of shipments.

Responsibilities

+ Manage incoming and outgoing shipments with precision and attention to detail.

+ Coordinate and execute shipping and receiving processes effectively.

+ Verify and document the contents of incoming shipments to ensure accuracy.

+ Securely package items for outgoing shipments to prevent damage during transit.

+ Manage inventory and conduct regular audits to maintain accurate stock levels.

+ Track orders and inventory using computer systems.

+ Safely load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care.

+ Efficiently pick and pack orders to meet delivery schedules.

+ Help create a shipping/receiving inventory tracking program.

Essential Skills

+ Previous experience in inventory management using computer systems.

+ Experience working within a mill, industrial manufacturer, or similar environment.

+ Proficient in basic math for inventory tracking.

+ Understanding of industrial machinery components.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Forklift operation experience.

+ Proficiency with RF scanners.

+ Ability to perform cycle counts and tool inspections.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
