• Facilities Maintenance/ Production Technician

    Job Overview

     

    We are seeking a skilled **Facilities Technician** to oversee the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within our facilities. This role is responsible for ensuring that critical infrastructure—such as HVAC, generators, and fire suppression systems—remains fully operational. The technician will also perform routine inspections and repairs on property interiors, exteriors, and installed fixtures.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Conduct inspections and repairs on facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.

    + Maintain and operate the building management system to improve environmental comfort and efficiency.

    + Supervise and direct contractors, ensuring they meet performance standards.

    + Address maintenance service requests efficiently, minimizing disruptions.

    + Oversee the maintenance of lighting systems, office furniture, and minor plumbing tasks.

    + Perform specialized tasks, such as painting, locksmith work, and general facility upkeep.

    + Coordinate the movement of office furniture, machinery, and other materials.

    + Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety codes, and hazardous material protocols.

    + Respond promptly to emergencies and implement safety procedures.

    + Maintain documentation of work performed and materials procured.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • **Top Technical Skills:** Mechanical, electrical, HVAC, troubleshooting, wiring, and facility maintenance.

    • Knowledge of industrial systems, preventive maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

    • Ability to manage contractor selection, scheduling, and evaluation.

    • Strong organizational skills with a focus on workplace safety and compliance.

    • Experience in facility inspections and due diligence reporting.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
