    Job Title: Facilities and Forklift Technician ($26 - $32 per hour)

    Job Description

    This position requires a candidate with a strong background in forklift mechanics, with a focus on motor controls maintenance. The role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the facility's equipment and infrastructure.

    Responsibilities

    + Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other industrial trucks, ensuring they are in optimal operating condition.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.

    + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in facility equipment, including HVAC systems and forklifts.

    + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.

    + Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure timely and effective resolution of maintenance issues.

    + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.

    + Assist in the installation and start-up of new equipment and modifications to existing systems.

    + Provide training and guidance to other team members on proper maintenance procedures and safety practices.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance preferred.

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, with a focus on forklift maintenance.

    + Good abilities for facilities maintenance, including troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.

    + Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in forklifts and other industrial trucks.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in an automated facility with robotics, conveyors, and AGV.

    + Associate's or technical degree preferred if only 1-2 years of experience.

    + Experience with PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, and preventive maintenance.

    + HVAC troubleshooting, maintenance, and refrigeration.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a permanent, direct-hire position based out of Dayton, TN.

     

    **Starting Pay:** $26-$32/hr, depending on experience

    **Shift:** days - 7:00am to 7:30pm

    **Schedule:** 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on; working every other weekend

    **Weekly Hours:** 36+ hours one week, 48+ hours the next week

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $64480.00/yr.

     

    6% 401K, 3 Weeks PTO, Quarterly Production Bonus

    This is a fully onsite position in Dayton,TN.
