_Automotive Painter- Weekly Pay $$- Start ASAP!_

_Pay: $20-$23/hour_

_Hours: Monday-Friday, Various Shifts Available_

_Our company is looking for a skilled and motivated automotive painter! The automotive painter is responsible for completing the paint preparation and painting of fire trucks. Individuals must be capable of wearing a respirator as needed to perform job duties._

_Responsibilities:_

+ _Grind welds and other areas of the vehicle to prepare for painting._

+ _Sand vehicles to prepare for painting._

+ _Perform buffing on basic items such as smart access and smaller items._

+ _Complete final and advanced buffing as needed._

+ _Complete taping and masking for body work and painting._

+ _Caulk the exterior and interior areas of the vehicle to prepare for painting._

+ _Use body filler and prepare area for painting._

+ _Use paint equipment to apply primer coat of paint._

+ _Paint wheels._

+ _Apply finished painting on swinging doors, bodies, and smart access components._

+ _Maintain and clean paint equipment._

+ _Operate stationary and overhead cranes as needed._

+ _Operate all equipment and tools as needed._

+ _Perform other general labor duties as assigned._

_Skills:_

+ _Proficiency in painting and industrial painting._

+ _Experience in paint preparation and using hand tools._

+ _Auto body paint expertise._

+ _Ability to operate a paint booth and use a spray gun._

_Qualifications:_

+ _GED or High School Diploma._

+ _Ability to use basic hand and power tools._

+ _Skill in using a tape measure for precise measurements._

+ _Vocational training in body work/vehicle repair or equivalent experience._

+ _Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division._

+ _Detail-oriented._

+ _Ability to paint equipment._

+ _Capacity to read and understand truck specifications and blueprint documents._

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
