Job Title: Welding Supervisor
Job Description
Lead a dynamic manufacturing team and collaborate with suppliers in the construction of boxed headers and the assembly of bundles for air-cooled heat exchangers.
Responsibilities
+ Create and manage the production schedule for both shops.
+ Ensure solid cost controls are in place and regularly review actual job performance.
+ Visit sub-contract suppliers to verify quality, cost, and timeliness align with expectations.
+ Uphold core values of safety, quality, schedule, and value, ensuring policies are followed.
+ Ensure facility, equipment, and supplies are adequate to support operations.
+ Directly supervise and lead shop personnel as required.
+ Manage staffing levels to maintain efficient workforce and control overtime.
+ Maintain high levels of communication with Engineering, Purchasing, and Project Management to minimize costs and ensure timely delivery.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in welding techniques.
+ Technical degree preferred or 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
+ 5-7 years of experience in directly supervising the welding of boxed headers.
+ 2-5 years of experience operating MIG, TIG, and/or SAW welding equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong leadership and communication skills.
+ Ability to effectively manage production schedules.
+ Experience in cost control and performance review.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $40.00/hr.
