    Job Title: Install/Construction Technician (Per Diem and Travel Pay)

    Job Description

    Join our team as an Install/Construction Technician where you will have the opportunity to travel across Northern Ohio, Southern Michigan, and Western Pennsylvania to finalize construction projects for gas stations. This role involves a variety of tasks including installing duct work, cooler boxes, and setting up refrigeration units, soda machines, and food equipment. You'll also be involved in cabinetry, countertop installation, hanging kitchen hoods, and decorative beam setup.

    Responsibilities

    + Install duct work and cooler boxes at construction sites.

    + Set up refrigeration units, soda machines, and food equipment on counters.

    + Hang hoods in kitchens.

    + Set up foam beams in stores as decorative elements.

    + Perform cabinet and countertop installations.

    + Install shelving units.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of experience in facility maintenance or construction.

    + Basic hand tool experience.

    + Ability to work independently and follow directions and timelines.

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to travel across Northern Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and Southern Michigan.

    + Basic construction/facility maintenance experience.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Reside in Eastern Ohio, preferably in Cleveland and east.

    This contract opportunity offers the potential for a long-term position, with busy hours and overtime available through September. Enjoy a $40 per diem and paid hotel accommodations during travel.

     

    Work Environment

     

    You will be traveling to different stores to complete construction projects, with typical workdays from Monday to Thursday, starting at 6:30 AM and lasting around 10 hours. Fridays may also be required based on project needs.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Maumee, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
