    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Metal Processor to join our team. The role requires one day shift and two night shifts. Candidates with experience in press brake, shear, saw, burn table, and blueprint reading are strongly considered for interviews. However, other mechanical aptitudes will also be evaluated.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain various metal processing equipment such as press brake, shear, saw, and burn table.

    + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate processing of materials.

    + Utilize hand tools and measurement instruments like tape measures for precision work.

    + Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality specifications throughout the processing tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience as a machine operator with a focus on brake press, shear, saw, and burn table operations.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.

    + Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 6+ months experience in metal manufacturing machine operations.

    + Experience in automotive mechanics is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a second shift schedule, Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, with the option for overtime every Saturday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The role involves working with metal processing equipment in a facility that emphasizes safety and precision.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blair, Nebraska.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
