    Job Title: Warehouse Worker

    Job Description

    As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and an ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using a computer.

    + Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.

    + Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigating discrepancies or adjusting errors.

    + Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.

    + Label stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.

    + Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

    + Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.

    + Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

    + Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.

    + Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies for effective security operations.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $19.75/hr.
