    A Program Coordinator at Munson Healthcare provides support and leads/collaborates with the Munson Healthcare Provider Services team including but not limited to: Medical Staff Office, Credentialing, Data/Access, Onboarding, and Orientation.  Leads these teams through promoting/leading standardization and best practice.  Works collaboratively with provider recruitment and onboarding, provider liaison and referral management, provider education, medical staff leaders at local hospitals, operations/practice leadership, CMOs, quality management (including quality monitoring and risk management issues) throughout the credentialing and privileging process.  This position also provides leadership and supports the MHC medical staff organization and executive physician leadership team regarding credentialing, privileging and provider data tracking services.

    What’s Required:

    Experience/Education

    + Associate’s degree - In lieu of an Associate’s degree, 3 or more years of healthcare experience required

    + Bachelor’s degree – preferred

    + 2 years experience in physician services or other similar healthcare related role working with providers and/or provider relations

    + Certified Professional Medical Staff Manager (CPMSM) and/or Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is preferred. Eligibility and willingness to be certified will be considered based on extensive other background.
