Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Chicago site is looking for a new Area Air Logistics Pricing Expert to join our Air Logistics team.

Your Role

As the area air logistics pricing expert, you are responsible for compiling and analyzing rates for quote requests in support of the air freight business unit within US North Central area. This includes ad hoc shipment quotations and national and global client tenders, with the primary focus on ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely responses to meet clients’ needs.

Your Responsibilities

+ Complete requests per US pricing strategies under the guidance of air freight management.

+ Support national and global air freight activities as necessary and directed by management.

+ Answer quotation requests using KN standard formats and developed systems.

+ Manage pricing request queues and adhere to pricing task deadlines.

+ Assist with tender project management to maintain existing business or for new business development.

+ Provide feedback and consultation to sales teams regarding client pricing strategy and formats, requirements, supporting data and market intelligence.

+ Work independently within a team environment providing back up support when required.

+ Report to Area Air Logistics Pricing Manager

+ Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Your Skills and Experiences

+ Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field; or equivalent experience

+ 3+ years' experience in 3PL

+ 1+ years' of pricing experience

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
