    3rd shift In-Plant Ink Technician

    **Pay Rate** :

     

    $52,100-$69,500

     

    _Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial rewards._

    Salaried Full time Non–Exempt rotating schedule

     

    Week 1 - 7 pm – 7 am – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

     

    Week 2 – 7 pm – 7 am - Wednesday & Thursday

     

    Week 3 – 7 pm – 7 am – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday

    Week 4 - 7 pm – 7 am - Wednesday & Thursday

    The Job You Will Perform:

    + Color matches and re-matches

    + Manufacture ink batches for print jobs

    + Press side technical assistance

    + Maintain customer ink inventory

    + File ink usage reports

    + Attend production meetings and other customer meetings as required

    + Other technical issues needed by customer: Ink training, ink improvements, cost reductions, etc.

    The Skills You Will Bring:

    + Goal oriented

    + Good communication skills

    + Good math skills

    + Desire to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

    + At least two years’ experience with flexographic printing inks preferred

    + Knowledge of and previous experience with ink color matching and press side trouble shooting is preferred

    + Experience in pre-printed liner applications is highly desirable
