TEKsystems is hiring an Instructional Designer/Technical writer to join one of our non-profit insurance clients in NYC.

Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire

Description:

+ This role focuses in developing and writing training documentation for our clients call center reps.

+ The majority of the role will focus in enhancing training documentation and implementing new E-Learning initiatives to bring their trainings to the next level.

+ Work with SMEs to understand training priorities and document processes for training manuals and job guides.

The ideal candidate will have:

+ Strong working knowledge of pension and medical benefit plans, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly materials.

+ Demonstrated expertise in creating technical learning objectives and implementing effective learner engagement strategies.

+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for diverse audiences.

+ Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and sound professional judgment.

+ Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter, while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

+ Strong understanding of project management processes and best practices.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and other relevant tools for documentation and content development.

+ High level of personal accountability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.

+ Skilled at building and maintaining effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.

+ Ability to provide a portfolio showcasing previous instructional design work, including examples of training materials, job aids, and/or eLearning content.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
