THE POSITION
Start a new and exciting chapter in your career as an Administrative Officer 1! The Office of Children, Youth and Families is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to function as the training lead for clerical staff of the Division of Operations. In this role, you will ensure the ability and proficiency of staff that perform all clerical activities within the division. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As an Administrative Officer 1, you will be responsible for developing and administrating training to support the operations of the Clearance Verification Unit, Appeals Unit, and Quality Assurance Administrative Support Unit. Your duties will include training new clerical staff in standard operating procedures, tools, and policies. In this position, you will be responsible for onboarding new staff by requesting access to computer applications and databases and offboarding departing staff who are no longer authorized. You can expect to provide ongoing training to existing clerical employees to support continuous improvement in service quality and operational efficiency. Additionally, you will develop and maintain a comprehensive training curriculum and resource guides.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ Telework: This position requires on-site presence for the initial month of in-person training classes and as needed for team meetings or operational requirements. Once training classes are complete and workload permits, you may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time, subject to supervisor approval and organizational needs. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
+ Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
