The Specialty Care Center is a multispecialty group practice within the hospital, promoting the optimal care of adults and children with lifelong neurological and neuromuscular conditions, along with various other programs and services designed to provide quality healthcare and assistance to those living with various complex medical conditions. Service areas include: Orthopedics, Muscular dystrophy, Neurology including treatment of spasticity and Parkinson's Disease, Bariatrics, Suboxone (follow-up alcohol and drug rehabilitation), Pediatric development, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology and Concussion management. Job Details Our Specialty Care Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) will: Be responsible for nursing assessments, plan, interventions, and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Provide direct patient care to our patients in the specialty care clinic Partner with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction Plan and implement coordination of care for our clinic patients Handle patient messages and communicate effectively Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients through safety intervention, emotional support, and education. What you'll bring: 1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience Experience working in an outpatient or clinic setting as an RN preferred Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Salary Range USD $59.96 - USD $59.96 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
