    Position Summary

    Sr. Operations Schedulers will strategically prioritize work and determine resource requirements and responsible for maintaining a holistic view of work to be completed at all times to identify and recommend solutions to Sr. Leaders. They will build and manage a full book of work developing and handing off a prioritized, compliant, executable schedule to construction. They will also mentor fellow employees and interns as assigned. They will be the point of contact for Directors & Vice Presidents for 1-2-year strategic resource planning reports and analysis.

    Essential Responsibilities

    + Plan a multi-week schedule based on evaluation of work demands & work prioritization considering factors. Planning responsibilities include identification of gaps and authority to resolve scheduling conflicts and making recommendations to management related to schedule and resources needed.

    + Analyze scheduling performance in order to forecast resource utilization for upcoming year & identify opportunities for resource reallocations and operational improvements, make recommendations for crew sourcing changes based on forecasts as well as improvements within area of responsibility, & lead process change implementation efforts. Facilitate monthly regional/area/OpCo metric review meetings to evaluate performance. Provide Operating Company level reporting, analysis, & presentations to Sr. Leaders with proactive analysis & decision opportunities.

    + Communicate & work effectively with leaders & build/leverage strong partnerships with stakeholder groups at a variety of levels to maximize productivity, utilization, & operational efficiency of all resources. Negotiate with key partners to realign dates on projects to ensure customer and compliance dates are met.

    + Manage personnel, equipment, & material resource availability over a multi-week timeframe and ensure availability of work assignment to crews across the region including decision making to reallocate resources across areas as needed, optimizing contract/employee resource selection.

    + Own strategic capital process initiatives, ongoing process reinforcement, and on the job coaching with peers, interns, and key stakeholders (i.e., Design, Supply Chain, and Construction).

    + Accountable for ensuring all compliance & program work is scheduled within required timeframes. Verify work tasks are assigned to the correct work areas, in the right order, based on provided dependencies.

    + Drive customer satisfaction by establishing, training, and maintaining strong adherence to scheduling processes.

    Minimum Requirements

    + 7 years' experience in construction, design, maintenance, or other operations area.

    + Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage work activities in a manner that meets customer and/or internal stakeholder requirements.

    + Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, as well as strong written & verbal communication skills including meeting management and facilitation.

    + Proficiency with spreadsheet and various scheduling tools.

    + Ability to retrieve & manipulate data from reporting tools.

    + Demonstrated ability to use software applications which include MS products, work management, mapping, & scheduling tools.

    Preferred Requirements:

    + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.

    + Utility scheduling/planning experience.

    + Strong coaching, training, presentation, & change management experience.

    + Primavera experience

    + PMP certification

    The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $82,800.00 to $117,600.00 per year
