The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role can be based in our San Francisco, CA or Mountain View, CA offices.
You are a hybrid product‑data‑AI expert who will lead a team of talented analytics engineers / builders developing best-in-class self-serve analytics products on LinkedIn's internal stack that empower decision-makers across the company. You'll be responsible for driving our analytics platform roadmap from legacy systems to modern, AI-powered solutions.
You will manage our Ecosystem Business Intelligence & Analytics (EBIA) team. Self-serve analytics roadmap includes automation of reporting dashboards, Ecosystem Metrics platform, Ecosystem Hub of Analytics tools (eg. root-cause analyzer), and our innovative AI-powered analytics agents. In this role, you will bridge technical expertise with business acumen to transform how our organization leverages data for decision-making.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead and develop a team of technical professionals responsible for building and maintaining our analytics ecosystem
+ Execute on our product roadmap to deliver self-service analytics tools, metric standardization, and AI-powered insights (innovative LLM-powered analytics agents that automate insight generation)
+ Drive the technical implementation of our self-serve analytics roadmap, coding alongside your team when needed
+ Architect and develop scalable Python-based solutions for data pipelines, metric processing, and AI integration
+ Partner closely with Strategic Finance, Product, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
+ Drive the migration from legacy systems (Azkaban) to modern data platforms (Airflow)
+ Lead the development of our metrics ecosystem, ensuring data quality, reliability, and consistency
+ Oversee the implementation of AI-assisted analytics capabilities
+ Build and maintain executive dashboards that drive business decisions
+ Drive continuous improvement in team processes and analytics deliverables
Basic Qualifications:
+ 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering
+ 2+ years of people management experience, preferably leading technical teams
+ Technical background in SQL, data modeling, and analytics infrastructure
+ Experience with modern data pipelines and visualization tools
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with AI/ML integration into analytics products, particularly with LLMs
+ Knowledge of data engineering principles, ETL pipelines, and data quality frameworks
+ Strong Python programming skills with experience building production-quality applications
+ Experience with modern BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
+ Familiarity with dashboard design and data visualization best practices
+ Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
+ Experience with agile development methodologies and product management
+ Strong systems skills with preference toward Airflow, SQL, and modern web frameworks
+ MBA or Master's degree in a related technical field is a plus

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $146,000 to $237,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
