    Job Title: Underground Laborer

     

    The primary function of this role is to prepare for utility installations and set up and execute inspections. This position works closely with equipment operators as well as other technicians.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Primary duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

     

    + Work with equipment operators to prepare excavation for utility installations.

    + Set up and execute inspections for work.

    + Deliver equipment and materials to job sites when needed.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.     + High school diploma or GED is required.

    + Ability to obtain a DOT medical card is required.

    + A valid driver’s license with a clear driving record is required.

    + Ability to setup, understand, and competently use a grade laser is required.

    + Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs is required.
