    Risk and Controls Governance Lead

     

    What does a successful Risk & Controls Governance Lead do at Fiserv?

     

    You will join our team in fostering a culture of risk awareness and accountability by developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive risk and control management framework. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring effective governance over our risk and control landscape, aligning with organizational policies, standards, objectives, and regulatory requirements.

    What you will do:

    + Lead the development and execution of the risk and controls governance strategy within the assigned organization.

    + Support the establishment and maintenance of a robust risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and methodologies.

    + Collaborate with business units to promote a strong risk culture and ensure effective implementation of controls.

    + Prepare and present risk and control status governance reports to senior management.

    + Act as a subject matter expert on risk and control governance, providing guidance and support.

    + Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators.

    + Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.

    What you will need to have:

    + 2+ years of experience in risk management, controls governance, or a related field.

    + Proven experience in developing and implementing risk and controls governance strategies.

    + Previous experience with identifying, assessing, and prioritizing risks and control weaknesses.

    + Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience..

    What would be great to have:

    + 5+ years of experience with risk management frameworks and methodologies.

    + Previous role using communication and presentation skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
