Summary of Position:
As a Transplant Assistant at Penn State Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the transplant team while enjoying a rewarding career with work-life balance. With a focus on providing administrative and clinical support, you will assist in the coordination of transplant services, ensuring smooth operations and a seamless experience for both patients and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate patient care, ensuring timely scheduling and preparation for transplant procedures.
• Manage patient records and assist with documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and transplant teams to provide updates and answer inquiries.
• Support the coordination of medical testing, assessments, and follow-up care.
• Handle administrative tasks, including preparing reports and assisting with data management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
+ High school diploma or equivalent required
+ Post high school education or equivalent experience
+ Two (2) years of related experience required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
+ **Microsoft Proficiency Level:** Word: Intermediate; Excel: Basic; PowerPoint: Intermediate preferred.
