    Sales Representative

     

    Work Location: 304 Curry Dr, Sedalia, MO 65301

     

    Join our experienced sales team to create memories for children with yearbooks.This position is responsible for building a relationship with elementary school staff to sell and provide customer service for yearbooks production.

     

    Through direct marketing via mail, telephone calls, website inquiries, response cards, etc., the sales representative is responsible for increasing sales in both their specific territory and for the team as a whole within the goals and guidelines set by management for accountability. External communications will include, but will not necessarily be limited to public and private school teachers, administrators, parent/student organizations, photographers, territory representatives, and private individuals.

     

    Customer service is provided on yearbook orders from order entry through the post-shipment time frame with interaction between the customer, representative, manufacturing, and accounting. Internal communications will include, but will not necessarily be limited to other representatives of the Sales and Customer Service team, Information Systems, Accounting, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Management.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS:

    Minimum education required is a high school diploma or GED. Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this position. An associate’s or college degree is preferred.

     

    Bi-lingual in Spanish would be preferred.

     

    Must have a working knowledge of basic office procedures, including keyboarding.

     

    Knowledge or experience with a CRM software package, or customer database software is preferred.

     

    Knowledge of basic accounting functions would be helpful, but not required.

     

    Good communicator with pleasant telephone voice.

     

    Proven sales experience is desired; inside sales experience preferred.
