Mill Creek’s capital markets/investment management group is responsible for finding financial solutions to support our development, acquisition, single-family rental and construction teams. The process of raising capital is a continuous effort directly related to our strategic growth plan.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
+ Maintain marketing materials for capital raising initiatives, which include Mill Creek’s track record
+ and current development pipeline
+ Draft PowerPoint presentations and documents detailing Mill Creek’s comprehensive pipeline,
+ evaluate and implement new proforma underwriting standards based on specific deal terms,
+ compile due diligence information and complete other ad hoc investor requests
+ Analyze monthly proforma models for Mill Creek’s development pipeline to keep marketing
+ materials and investor rotation schedules current
+ Provide necessary property specific proforma model outputs and other due diligence materials for
+ investors as deals change
+ Compose answers and coordinate timely responses to numerous due diligence questionnaires for
+ potential investors
+ Coordinate with local development teams to gather necessary property specific quantitative and
+ qualitative information
+ Maintain data rooms with up-to-date marketing materials
+ Update property model template with revised underwriting assumptions and quarterly market data
+ Create ad hoc presentations and models to assist discussions internally or with current and potential
+ investors
Qualifications
+ Must have a combination of strong quantitative/analytical skills
+ Attention to detail and strong data gathering skills
+ Distinguished written, editing and oral skills
+ Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities
+ Experience working with and presenting to senior executives
+ Establish and maintain relationships with various teams across the organization
+ Good work ethic able to operate without much oversight
Requirements
+ 4-year degree with an emphasis in mathematics or finance
+ 2-3 years of business finance or other relevant experience; real estate experience a plus
+ Strong fluency with Excel formulas, functions and financial modeling
+ Note: test in excel modeling administered
