CTG is seeking to fill a Siemens Teamcenter PLM Technology Consultant opening for our client in New London, CT.
**Location:** New London, CT
**Duration:** 90 days
Duties:
+ Serve as the subject matter expert for Siemens Teamcenter PLM in support of submarine and shipbuilding programs.
+ Provide strategic and technical guidance on Teamcenter architecture, configuration, deployment, and integration with other enterprise systems.
+ Support the full lifecycle of PLM implementation, including requirements gathering, design, customization, testing, training, and user support.
+ Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure Teamcenter solutions align with business objectives and operational needs.
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configuration, process workflows, and user manuals.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve PLM-related issues and support upgrades or migrations to newer Teamcenter versions.
Skills:
+ Deep knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter PLM (preferably the most recent versions and NX integration).
+ Strong understanding of PLM concepts including BOM management, change management, configuration management, and digital thread continuity.
+ Experience in system customization using BMIDE, ITK, and Active Workspace.
+ Familiarity with CAD/CAE integration, particularly NX and Solid Edge.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and processes.
+ Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience:
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
+ Recent experience with Teamcenter implementations or upgrades is highly preferred due to significant changes in product versions.
+ Prior experience supporting shipbuilding or submarine construction programs using PLM tools is strongly preferred.
+ Experience working in cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and production.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
+ Advanced degrees or certifications in PLM technologies, Siemens platforms, or marine systems engineering are a plus.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $40.00/hour to $70.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
