    Job Description

    The Production Resource (Production Supervisor) is responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials and systems) in order to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieves performance targets as agreed with Production Management.

     

    **Pay Range:** $87,309.00 - $99,861.00 / year

    **Annual Bonus:** This role is eligible for an annual bonus

    Schedules:

    12 hour shift on a rotational 2-2-3 schedule

    1 Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

    1 Nigh Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

     

    These positions will follow a rotational schedule, with shifts alternating every 6 months between day and night shifts. The rotation will depend on the employee's initial assignment.

    MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Ensure that a high quality of products, services, housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained and improved on the manufacturing floor

     

    Review daily achievement of targets and report variances during on-the-floor and review meetings

     

    Coach, mentor and develop team members on the manufacturing floor to meet current and future business requirements

     

    Prioritize, schedule, and ensure maintenance and repairs are completed to maximize efficiency

     

    Review daily maintenance effectiveness with Maintenance Mechanic and Team members to identify opportunities for improvement

     

    Ensure the development and implementation of action plans to address root causes of failures and support continuous improvement initiatives

     

    Facilitate seamless handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members and Production Management

     

    Understand internal and external regulations, procedures and policies and apply them fairly and consistently

     

    Manage relationships with internal customers and suppliers, colleagues and support services to ensure achievement of targets

     

    Conduct safety audits/investigations when incidents occur

     

    Developing and leading the shift production team by leading, motivating and inspiring others.

    Qualifications

    Key qualifications include but not limited to:

    Two to five years of experience in a supervisory capacity with line ownership required

     

    Four year degree preferred not required

     

    Proficient in executing tasks and achieving milestones

     

    Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required

     

    Understanding of processes and mechanics of line equipment

     

    Excellent problem solving ability

     

    PC Skills including MS excel and Word

     

    Familiarity with quality and hygiene regulation - Cost awareness of operations

     

    Ability to multi-task and delegate

     

    Effective communication skills

     

    Modern maintenance techniques (MP2)

     

    Ability to manage and develop employees
