Print Production Specialist

Under the direction of Manager, Central Service and technical assistance from Lead, Print Production, set up and operate high-speed high volume digital printers; maintain records, supplies, and performs related duties, as necessary.
Job Duties:
+ Set up and operate equipment according to job.
+ Setup for finishing; sort, collate, staple, booklet, drill, fold, single side, and duplex.
+ Receive work orders for jobs to be output from requester; schedule with other requests; upon completion of job, route according to job order/print production request instructions.
+ Print confidential information for various departments and place in secure location.
+ Maintain recording of machine error and job log sheets as well as appropriate stock of paper and supplies.
+ Open and close the Print Production area daily.
+ Add toner/ink to machines as needed and perform all "Key Operator'' maintenance as required to maintain high quality prints.
+ Must use integrity and discretion in safeguarding confidential data handled or obtained in the normal performance of duties.
+ Perform other duties as required or assigned which may in any way relate to serving the customer with superior service.
+ Reasonable and predictable attendance is essential.
+ Assist customers with stock selections and self-service copying.
+ Assist in Press and Bindery areas when necessary.
Education:
High School education or the equivalent
Experience:
One year of general work experience with digital/offset printers.
Knowledge and Skills:
+ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written),
+ Detail oriented.
+ Excellent time management skills.
+ Understand the health and safety regulations in regards to all equipment, and have a working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
